The District shall have a Student Advisory Committee composed of five students elected by students attending Monument Mountain Regional High School. Students shall be elected by October 1. The members of the Student Advisory Committee shall by majority vote elect from their number a Chair(s) who shall serve for a term of one year.
The District School Committee shall meet with the Student Advisory Committee at least once every other month during the months that the District's High School is in session.
The Student Advisory Committee's Chair shall be an ex-officio nonvoting member of the District School Committee, without the right to attend executive sessions unless such right is expressly granted by the District School Committee. The said Chair shall be subject to all of the School Committee rules and regulations and shall serve without compensation.
